Friday May 9th - Steve Day! Philip Simon! Ashley Frieze! MC Alex Hylton
Hooray!
The Impington Village College Comedy night is back for May.
We're thrilled to welcome Steve Day as our headliner!
Steve Day...
Impington Village College nights are always fab, and this line up is a little belter!
Steve Day describes himself as Britain's only deaf comedian, if there are any others he hasn't heard. Actually there are a couple of others who have started since he wrote that joke, but it's only a joke after all.
For the past eleven years Steve has been performing to huge laughter around the country and abroad, well they tell him the laughter was huge to humour him, he doesn't know either way.
"Warm and very funny" The Scotsman.
Plus ... Philip Simon.
Philip Simon is an award-winning comedian and compere known for his quick wit, relatable humour, and ability to connect with audiences of all ages.
As well as writing brilliant gags and one-liners (as featured on Mock the Week), he has a unique ability to take everyday observations and turn them into hilarious comedic routines that leave audiences in stitches. Philip's clever writing style and impeccable timing make him a crowd favourite, and he consistently receives rave reviews for his performances.
And ... Ashley Frieze.
With his charming, daft, and warm brand of music-infused stand-up comedy, this guitar-toting funny man has been entertaining audiences across the UK for nearly 20 years. His original songs, with well-crafted lyrics and catchy tunes, span many genres from Jazz to Coldplay, via 1960's girl-group pop
Your MC - Alex Hylton.
Alex Hylton is one of the fastest rising comics in the Midlands and a presenter and writer for BlueMoonRisingTv. A youthful, energetic new act with relatable anecdotes of adolescence, mixing in one-liners and a smudge of surrealism to create a likable and unique style, Alex is tipped by many to go all the way.

Sometimes life gets in the way and we have to change the acts. It doesn't happen very often but we're sorry if it does.
